Long's Peak, RMNP

We wanted to spend a couple of days backpacking in Rocky Mountain National Park, and we decided to try for Long's Peak. It's 14,255 ft. Rather than do the whole thing in one day, which sounds more like torture than fund, we decided to camp part way up and make it a two-day trip.

Here we are near the trailhead, stopping at one of the many stream crossings, and heading up to Granite Pass.
